Nirvana Tribute Band Sunday 5th December 2010

So, we're all settled and cosy in the new look !Exodus! and it's time to get back into the swing of the events. Tonight we have Bad Ampitude performing their fantastic SL Tribute Band Act of one of my favourite bands...NIRVANA!

All the tunes you expect will be there...Lithium, Come as You Are and of course Smells Like Teen Spirit! I can't wait and hope to see you all there....get there early to grab a great spot in front of the stage!

NEW !Exodus!

Ok I've been a bit very slack in updating the blog for a few weeks. Those of you that have been to !Exodus! in the last week or so know why. We have a new home, new club and new mall! Thanks for the wonderful talents of Rocco Silverstar, the builder who brought us the original !Exodus! we now have an updated, fresher version of the club on a new, far less laggy, sim!

The Mall has proved a huge success already with 9 of the 12 stores let and the mall ready to rock! Look out for us in some great hunts on the grid over the next few months!

Tick Tock....we don't stop!

For those of us in the UK and Europe the clocks go back in the early hours of Sunday morning. The US doesn't so SLT will remain the same. Make sure you don't miss out all the great dj's and parties at !Exodus! by bearing in the mind the altered time difference! Oh! It's only for a week then SLT catches up!!

This weekend....Twice the Fun!

We really are going to partying ALL weekend at !Exodus! with two fantastic themes and 5, yes FIVE! themed events!

We kick off the weekend on Saturday with the Greeks and Romans themed party at 1-3pm SLT with DJ Jamie and again at 7-9pm with DJ Todd. It's sure to be togatastic!

Then on Sunday we do it all over again with three Halloween parties on the brilliant Jeepers Creepers sim on the Calas Galadhon Park Estates. We have literally hundreds of fun, freaky prizes plus the usual Cash Contests. Grab a Ghoulish disguise and head on over from 1-3am, 1-3pm and 7-9pm SLT

Helloween Events 31st October 2010

We'll be having our Halloween Event's at the Jeepers Creepers sim at Calas Galadhon and I'm super excited about it. The sim is fantastic, with lots of ghoulishly spooky surprises. It's totally interactive and scary fun and we'll be holding three events on Halloween, 1-3am, 1-3pm and 7-9pm SLT. Cash Prizes plus Prizes from Mindshift and Razorblade Jacket.

Toon Time this Saturday & Sunday

We all have our favourite cartoons...Tom and Jerry, The Flintstones, The Jetsons or some of the moder modern toons...I have a soft spot for Johnny Bravo! This week you'll get your chance to dress up as your cartoon hero at our Loony Toons event. Three contests, covering three timezones.

Saturday 23rd October - 1-3pm SLT - DJ Jamie - L$1000 Contest
Saturday 23rd October - 7-9pm SLT - DJ Todd - L$1000 & L$500 Razorblade Jacket Giftcard
Sunday 24th October - 1-3am SLT - DJ Kess - L$1000 Contest

This Weekend....

The theme for this weekends parties is IN THE COUNTRY so whether you want to prepare for an old fashioned picnic, a ramble across the dales or a day on the farm it's all things countryside at !Exodus! this weekend

DJ's pretty much all day but the main events will be:

Saturday 16th October 1-3pm SLT with DJ Jamie
Saturday 16th October 7-9pm SLT with DJ Todd
Sunday 17th October 1-3am SLT with DJ Kess

All of the above have L$1000 up for grabs with the addition of a Razorblade Jacket giftcard at the 7-9pm SLT event

Congratulations to Greywolf & Kelebek

Oh the surprise! The uber romantic DJ Greywolf had a surprise up his sleeve last night during DJ Jamie's set, and even I didn't know about it! About half hour into DJ Jamie's set DJ Greywolf's voice appeared on the air to tell his girlfriend, one of our fabulous hosts, Kelebek that he loved her, before popping the question and asking her to marry him. She didn't hesitate in saying yes and the happy couple danced the night away to celebrate their engagement at !Exodus!

Congratulations Kele and Grey from all the team and all the VIP's at !Exodus! I'm off to buy a new hat!

!Exodus! featured in HeartBeat SL Magazine

Some time ago a reporter from a SL magazine visited the club to write a review of the club. For one reason or another the review was never published but we weren't sad because we met Khali, so we gained a fab VIP, friend and now DJ from the visit.

However, Khali has now published the review in HeartBeat SL magzine a copy of which can be found at the link below. I will be sending them out in group for an in world copy to.

Arabian Nights Pics....

WoW that was the closest I've been to not finishing a build prior to an event but it all went well in the end! My personal favourite piece of the build was the Genie bottle which was a lot of fun. Guns n Roses SL Tribute Band Sunday 29th August

Bad Ampitude will be back at !Exodus! this Sunday, 29th August with their version of a SL Tribute Act of Guns n Roses. The show is sure to be packed as always with all the iconic tunes from GnR's catalogue. Don't miss the Show, Sim space is limited so get their early!

Well, in the UK it's an August Bank Holiday weekend - the last of the summer public holidays so it's sure to be freezing cold and rain all day.

With that in mind the theme for Saturday's party is Winter White and we'll be transforming the club into a Wintery Wonderland. The line up for the evening is:

Live Music Sunday 22nd August 2010

2pm SLT 22nd August 2010 will be the debut of Elysum at !Exodus! Rock Club. The rocking duo of Lorel Bravin and his RL brother Elys Mistwalker will be rocking the club with a mix of your favourite rock tunes from the likes of GnR and Nirvana.
